For now this is a short term offering for a vacationer or local looking for temporary housing. Fully furnished for 1 or 2 good souls looking for a quiet nature retreat. Monthly rent + $150 utilities + $125 per pet + $225 cleaning and a $1,000 deposit (+ $300 additional deposit if you have animals). Please note that craigslist describes this listing as a private room (not sure why).. though it is an entire house and like it's own property with acreage surrounding it.
More on the space.
The house is very exclusive with no shared spaces.. an entire house with it's own gated private entrance and parking and a large fenced in back yard with yard areas all around the house. While it's part of my larger property (11 acres).. it's very much situated like it's own property.
The layout is super beautiful, open, with natural light, playful modern living room/kitchen, mountain views and a wood back deck with a wonderful claw footed bath tub. Soulful and homey with epic views of the mountains. There's also a small playhouse which could be used as a meditation room or just a little place to dwell. You can see it pictured with the main house (pic with fountain).
The open door ways expand out to the land which becomes an extension of the living space. The birds that land on the outside fountain are amazing.. birds of every kind.. sparrows, humming birds, blue scrub jays.. there's the sound of red tail hawks, crows, laying chickens (fresh eggs for you!) and neighboring horses. The sun is supreme here, the air quality medicinal and the weather has a habit of being a perfectly kind 72 degrees and sunny.
A true home... soulful with wood floors, a two headed hand tiled shower, organic California king mattress, claw foot bath tub off the back deck outside, a chef's kitchen and other good things you'd want in a dwelling, not to mention an UPRIGHT ACOUSTIC PIANO in the bedroom!
Wireless internet yes.
The location is amazing. 5 minutes from uptown SB, 10 minutes to beaches, the airport and downtown. 25 minutes to Los Olivos and Solvang. 35 minutes to Ojai.
