This is for general assistance in a small firm that provides technology expert witness services to the legal community, including cell phone, GPS, surveillance video, and other technology related services.. Our major customer is the criminal justice system of the county of Los Angeles, California, although we provide services to Attorneys in civil cases, and also the criminal justice assistance of other counties and states.
Activities include responding to inquiries by potential clients, file conversion and maintenance, possible telephone, communications, and a very important one… Launching a large legal action against a fortune 10 Company. This will require solicitation of an attorney from more than 100 candidate attorney firms, and will require email services provided by a commercial supplier to avoid having my firm’s email tagged as spam.o
Because this will be involved with legal matters, standard confidentiality will be required.
My firm has provided technology expert witness services in more than 150 cases, including the internal revenue service, the federal public defenders office, private individuals, and criminal suspects in approximately 12 different jurisdictions. There is a lot of work, and it ranges from the absolutely fascinating to the unusual. There is never a dull moment.
