EJS Construction, Inc is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Project Engineer to join our growing team. We are a General Contractor specializing in public works construction projects throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura county. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in construction management and gain hands-on experience working on impactful community projects.

Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations
Assist with estimating
Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients
Help maintain project schedules and budgets
Attend project meetings and site visits
Ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications
Support field operations and quality control efforts

Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar software is a plus
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
