Percussionist looking for semi acoustic band, covers or original (Santa Barbara)

I play a cajon set, sounds great but 10X less volume the a traditional set. I can also mic it when needs change.
I have played in many cover and original bands with traditional drums, but prefer the lower volume set-up now.
Let me know what you are doing and looking for. I'm looking for a casual, established, local situation.
Works well with semi acoustic situations and more.
