The color appears black in photos but is actually a transparent black. You can see through the black to the grain of the Alder body wood. It is really beautiful.

I have black control knobs on the guitar now but the original clear "lampshade" control knobs are included and will be shipped in the guitar case.
This PRS has the elegant feel of all PRS core models. Also has the exceptional clarity of single coil pickups but with a little more midrange than most single coils.
