Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team at Furniture Gallery by Mattress Mike. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient organization and management of our warehouse while handling heavy lifting and other physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient operations.
• Safely lift and move heavy items, up to 100 lbs, using proper techniques and equipment when necessary.
• Load and unload shipments, deliveries, and stock efficiently.
• Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies or damage.
• Assist with assembling, packing, and preparing items for delivery or showroom display.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems (preferred but not required).
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Weekends required (We are closed on Tuesdays)
