Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

About the Position:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at a hotel in beautiful Avila Beach. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming, and relaxing environment for our guests. You’ll be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas in accordance with our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
Replenish linens, towels, and guest room amenities
Maintain cleanliness in common hotel areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items
Follow hotel policies and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments
Ensure timely and efficient cleaning according to room turnover expectations
Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required — we’re willing to train the right person
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude
