I am selling a vintage chess set purchased in Hong Kong over 65 years ago. The chess pieces are intricately carved. The king stands 4.5" tall, 1.5" wide and 1 inch deep.

The board itself holds the pieces in a cushioned satin custom-made nesting bed. Each side is covered in a brocade gold satin cover and secured with small movable brass holds. The chessboard is hinged and foldable and is secured with a heavy brass clasp. The board measures 9" wide, 18" long and 3" high when closed. When it is fully open, the board is 18" square and 1.5" high.

This is a treasure that I would like to find a good home for.
