This 22ft. Radoncraft Cortez originally sold on Martha's Vineyard, MA. The "Skipjack" was brought to western NY for fresh water sport fishing on Lake Erie and Ontario. The second owner bought the boat from an estate and repowered it with a new 260HP Mercruiser MCM 5.7 EFI engine and AlphaOne outdrive. When I purchased the boat in 2016 it had around 75 hrs. on the new power train. It now has 133 hrs. Family commitments kept me from enjoying the boat as much as I had hoped.
Boat features a full cutty cabin. Walk around design with wide aisles to built in bow seating. At the bow is a companion way and rode locker. Large holds below a generous deck. Full canvas enclosure for helm. Live bait wells. Kicker motor mount at the stern. Built in rod & beverage holders along teak inlaid gunwales with padded inwalls. New bilge pump, new canvas covers bow to stern, new horn, new 250 ft. rode line. All original seat and V berth cushions, owners manual, porta-potty and fire extinguisher. Newly installed hubs, bearings, seals and tires on the Vantage double axle trailer make it ready to roll. The boat has always been serviced by certified marina staff.
Update September 21, 2025: The boat has been professionally cleaned and detailed. A new Mercruiser Fuel Pump has been installed. The impeller, engine and trailer have been serviced for Spring launch. All mechanical and electrical systems have been checked for proper operating condition.
I will work with a buyer to get her out to the west coast.
