All original very rare and highly collectible early numbered #731 vintage 1952-53 Hobie balsa board I got from the second owner twenty years ago who bought it used in 1955 in Newport Beach. It's a beautiful original amber/honey toned colored balsa board that measures 9'-8" x 23" x 3" with the nice original wood fin. The extra glass on the deck was put on in the mid 1950's because of knee paddling. Just a few minor dings fixed long ago and water tight. It's always been hanging on my wall only for show. I've had this 70+ year old board accurately dated and appraised for value based on some current auction sales and private sales of Hobie Balsa Boards.
