I am posting this with good intentions - the individual renting rooms out of this house is a con. He rents this house from Bartein and is behind on rent. I am currently renting a room from him and he is refusing to give monies I’m entitled to (prorated rent and security deposit). I’m paid up until January 1st and he was trying to move someone in my room on December 15th - double sublet. His utilities are all past due - he is getting notices to pay or services will be turned off. His utilities have balances of $600 plus. He will try to borrow money from you and get you to pay his past due utilities.
I don’t want anyone else to go through the stress or let alone lose out on money. His name is Chris Farley and he’s a Caucasian male in his 70’s. He’s intrusive and has very poor boundaries. He will try to bargain for your food and is relentless when you try to set boundaries with him. He’s always home and drinks and lays all day. He’s not a good individual to do business with. So please - proceed with caution.
