SEEKING PIANIST/MUSIC DIRECTOR (Santa Barbara)

Out of the Box Theatre Company in Santa Barbara, CA is looking for a qualified Music Director to help us bring our upcoming production of Assassins to life! We’re seeking a passionate individual who feels comfortable sight-reading, teaching vocal parts, rehearsing music with the band, and collaborating as a vital part of our production team. Scheduling begins in late January/February with performances scheduled for April 10-19, 2026. Rehearsals are generally held 4 evenings a week, 6:30pm-10:30pm. Paid position.

Ideally we're hoping to find someone to fill the role of both pianist and Music Director, but we'd also love to connect with pianists in the area who might be more available/interested in a lighter time commitment (playing in the band but perhaps not responsible for rehearsing with the actors, etc).
