Excellent-playing and great-sounding vintage Les Paul Custom from 1972—this is an original, not a reissue. The guitar has been well cared for and remains in solid vintage condition.
Cosmetically, it shows minor surface scratches and a few small dings consistent with age, but there are no cracks or structural repairs.
Specs & History:
Original Grover tuning machines
Bridge and tailpiece were replaced around 1983 due to corrosion
When purchased in 1978, the guitar was fitted with DiMarzio pickups with coil taps (the switches correspond to that setup)
Pickups were replaced in 1995 with Gibson “1955-style” replica humbuckers
Coil tap switches are currently non-functional / not connected
Includes the original case.
