Definitely an Indian elephant, as it is sporting a howdah (seat for riding on the back of an elephant).
All paint/graphics are wonderfully intact.
There are two very small rough spots in the glaze, on the smaller elephant's neck. These are due to manufacturer and not any type of damage (please refer to all photos).
There is also a small indentation on the edge of the teapot opening, but this, too, is down to the maker.
A pretty piece which will light up your kitchen decor. Perfect addition to any collection of elephant ware.
Dimensions: 7.5" long x 5.25" tall x 2.25" wide.
