Stella Mare's is seeking a friendly EXPERIENCED individual with a cheerful and engaging personality to join our service team.
AM Lunch/Brunch server (5 shifts per week 10:30 am to 3:30 pm)
PM server (3 to 4 shifts per week 4:30 pm to close)
As the primary point of contact for guest interactions in the dining room, Stella Mare's servers are responsible for selling and serving food and beverages using their knowledge, hospitality and service skills.
Duties include: making menu suggestions, memorizing specials, delivering food to tables, describing the dishes to guests, recommending wine selections, overseeing table maintenance, monitoring guest satisfaction, and assisting the kitchen in expediting the service process in order to maintain the flow of service throughout the dining room, as well as regular opening and closing duties
Must be pleasant, conscientious, and professional with knowledge of food and alcoholic beverage selections.
Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and Food and wine knowledge.
"Weekends and Holidays are required to qualify for this position"
MUST have 3 years of previous serving experience in a similar restaurant and mandatory experience working with a restaurant Point of Sales system (POS).
