Watercolor or gouache on textured tan French watercolor paper. Signed "Povi Tan" lower right.
The image shows a a male and a female dancer flanked by two oversize Kachina figures with wonderfully elaborate tabletas.
As is typical of Montoya's works there is an absolutely incredible level of fine detail.
One almost has to view the painting under magnification to appreciate what Montoya accomplished!
