I bought this transit from a retiring surveyor in 1978. I thought he said it was from around 1935, but according to online records it may be from 1907. I’ve used this right up today an works fine. Complete with wooden box, wooden tripod and rod. I see these for as much as $1500 from antique dealers, but I really don't know what it's worth. Make a good offer!
