a large 30x40 painting on heavy, thick paper titled "Untitled with Rousseau background" by California artist, Susan Clover. The Rousseau background means that it is in the style of the famous French painter, Henri Rousseau (1844-1910). I showed this painting to a local artist/art restoration guy and he believes the painting to be a combination of gouache and oil pastel crayons. the painting on thick paper is inside what looks like a clear acrylic covering that screws into the wood frame that is behind the painting (see photo 2). there is an address on the back from the Orlando Gallery in Encino, California. as you can see, i had to partially cover the woman with a piece of cardboard so i could display the painting on the net.
