FREE CRAFTSMAN 2BD/1BA HOUSE. HOUSE ONLY(NO LAND). (Santa Barbara)
I have a 2bd/1ba craftman cottage that I am offering for free. It is in move in condition, but it could use some updating. It has the original wood windows and doors, moldings, built-ins and hardwood floors (currently covered by carpet). There are appliances including an old O'Keiff & Merrit stove included.
Currently, I am still looking for someone to take this house, either whole, or to dismantle it in pieces and re-use the framing, siding, trim, doors, windows, moldings, etc. If you want to dismantle it, I will provide dumpsters for all of the stuff that you don't want. If you wish to dismantle it you do not need to have land, just a place that you can store the material.
If you want to relocate the house ... I have had a quite a few interested people and numerous people flake out on this deal so here are the terms. If you are interested, (1) you must own a lot near by, (2) you must obtain permission from your local building dept. to relocate the house and obtain a permit to move the house (3) you must do all of that within the next 60 days. Please don't email me if you do not currently have a lot/land. Please do not email me if you are not the type of person to take charge of a project and follow through, because this project will take a lot of work.
