Motorcycle Ride for MDA (Santa Maria, CA)

Volunteers needed Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 8:00am-12:00pm & Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 7:30am-10:30am to help facilitate registration for our Coastal Canyon Run & Sunrise Ride for MDA.
Local Bikers will be riding from Santa Maria Harley Davidson to the fairgrounds at Motorcycle Madness. All money raised benefits the local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Funds will be used to send local kids in the tri-counties area to a week long summer camp, support a comprehensive patient program, including our clinic at Cottage Hospital and client/patient support group. Individuals diagnosed with one of the over 40 neuromuscular diseases MDA covers receive these services free of charge. MDA also funds over 400 research projects worldwide in an effort to achieve it’s goal of elimination neuromuscular disease.
