“The ModernSquib” Needs Writer’s and WORDPRESS GURUS!
I am looking for some folks to write for and otherwise help me promote my Satire website. The site has been in existence for about 4 years but has yet to “catch” on…Probably because I’ve been the only writer and have run out of Reason(s) to continue.
I am convinced, weighed ‘against’ other’s in the “blogosphere,” that my site is a cut above and should be recognized…I want my shot at an appearance on “Daily Show.”
I need to achieve some simple goals and I need your help-
Firstly:
• ***I want to change the Look of the Site…(MOVED to WordPress NEED WORDPRESS GURUS)
• Offer other Writer’s and Blogger’s the opportunity of contributing to the Site. Again a WordPress thing.
• Become a Publishing House for Writers.
Secondly, I need Writers that can:
• Write about World Issues in general, Cultural Movements in Particular… with an emphasis on Amerika’s Hegemony and influence on the hearts and minds of the Citizen’s of the Global Village. (This requires an open minded, perhaps well traveled person that can assess both the positive and negative influence of Amerikan Culture on others).
• Comment with a brilliant and cutting edge irreverence on all things “Popular” in American Kulture…e.g. Do people actually care about American Idol?...Brittany Spears?...and if they do, why in all that’s holy do they?
• Point out absurdities and non-sequiters like the exclusive disjoint that exists between the Ideal of American Free Democracy that embraces Enlightened Secular Humanism and the current Materialistic policies of an Oligarchy committed to World rule. (Whatever…sounds good though).
• Create thought provoking critical Essays that demand either reader reprisals or agreement. Ability to stir up a dialogue on the above mentioned issues.
Secondly, I need website savvy types to help with the Administration and possible re-design of the web site that I created years ago with a Dreamweaver book and a “borrowed” template.
***I’ve recently changed hosts and setup a WordPress Blog…However I could use some help with the ‘migration’ and Template changes.
If you’ve actually read through this and have gotten to here, I suppose it would be a good idea to actually check out the site and see for your self what I have, what I need, and what you might offer to the cause.

BTW: THIS IS A NON-PAYING GIG…THAT IS UNTIL ‘WE’ GET THIS GOING AND BECOME ONE OF THE PREMIER BLOGS ON THE NET. THEN WE CAN BOMBARD ALL COMERS WITH A LITERAL CACAPHONY OF ADS AND ‘GET PAID’ FROM GOOGLE ADSENSE AND DOUBLECLICK……SORT OF KIDDING!!!
