Do you enjoy reading? Would you like to learn about Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic?
We create recordings of textbooks for students who struggle with reading. We're seeking volunteers, donors, students who have difficulty reading and their parents, and ambassadors who can tell others about our work. We're having our annual Record-A-Thon during the week of April 28 through May 3. You can come in, either by yourself or with a group, to hear what we do, meet someone we help, and actually participate in recording a book for a student who needs it.
Please call (805) 681-0531 to get more information or to set up a time to come in and participate. This Record-A-Thon is the one time a year that anyone can come in and just start reading: we hope you'll take the opportunity to learn about how we help students learn through listening.
