Hi! I'm a 21 year-old female UCSB student with an 8-year-old pekingese and pappillon mix named Gizmo. I live on 66 block of Trigo in IV right now. I love where I live but the lease is not pet friendly and I'm not really comfortable with it. Also I don't have a yard now and I really want one for Gizmo. I'm hoping to move out over winter break. So if you have a pet friendly lease and would like a change of scenery let's swap! My housemates would be cool with having another pet here but if the property managers find out it's your responsibility not theirs.
My house:
My house is awesome. The location is perfect, the very beginning of 66 block of Trigo and Pasado, all the stores and restaraunts are really close. It's 2 stories and 5 bedrooms. 10 girls live here, a good mix. Everyone is nice and respectful, some people are a little neater than others, and some people party a little more than others, but we all get along. We have 3 artists so the house is filled with cool artwork. My roommate is the best roommate ever. She's super chill, very neat, and rarely even home, so sometimes I feel like I have my own room! The room is not huge, but fits all our stuff comfortable and there's a palm tree outside the window which makes for a great vibe. The bathroom is shared with 3 other girls, but there's plenty of space because I'm pretty much the only one that keeps much in there. Our room fits 2 twin beds, 2 desks, 2 dressers, a fridge, a small tv, and 2 small shelf units. The closet is open and along 1 wall of the room. the living room and kitchen are upstairs. We have a huge balcony with a beer pong table, cox digital cable, a huge tv, and 2 fridges. There's also a stripper pole in one of the bedrooms, which is loads of fun and a great workout. I'm probably going to buy my own when I move out.
My dog:
My dog is mellow, a total chiller. He has hair not fur so he doesn't shed. He rarely barks. He's house broken but very territorial, so he will try to mark from time to time if other dogs have peed in the house and he smells it or if there is another dog living in the house with him. So it's best for him not to live with another dog, although he has before and it wasn't too bad so it's not out of the question. No cat houses though! I'm deathly allergic.
Me/your house:
I'm laid back. Not a lot bothers me. I generally get along with everyone. I'm friendly and fun, and always have a positive attitude. I'm neat in community space, but messy in my own space (my half of my room only, not my roommate's). I do my dishes; I'm courteous and respectful, but don't wanna be too inhibited in my own home. I work hard and I play hard. I like to party but I'm very focused when it comes to school. I'm looking for relaxed and positive housemates who are clean but not obsessive about it, who are fun and like to party but also responsible and focused when necessary. I'd also really like to have a yard.
