(F.Y.I. = If you are also looking for a job . . . the majority of the employees of these businesses -- consist primarily of students). UCSB's "Extension Campus" is four blocks away and UCSB's "Main Campus" is 2.5 road miles (less using bike trails) or a quick 10 minute bus ride. Santa Barbara City College is an easy 15 minute car ride (excluding time finding a parking place), plus Brook's Institute of Photography's "Main Campus" is 20 minutes by car and the "Montecito Campus" is 30 minutes.

Each upstairs bedroom is fully carpeted, has a large window with blinds, plus one entire width wall consists totally of closet space with two separate, "accordian" door entrances. The closet in the larger, three person room is divided equally into thirds. The closet in the smaller, two person room is divided equally in half and each person in this room has their own, private closet door entrance. Inside each closet are two shelves above the clothing poles, and below, each person has two plastic containers with lids for dirty laundry storage, plus also an individual, two-tier shoe rack. Dresser drawer space is also provided in each bedroom for fold-up clothing. (NOTE ... IF you want to bring LOTS and LOTS of shoes -- instead of the two-tier shoe rack -- a low bookcase can be provided that holds 30+ pairs of shoes!)

The furnishings in each bedroom consist of Ikea loft bed(s), one (free-standing) twin bed, plus the larger (three-person) room also has a two-seater couch! Positioned by the window in each room is a long study table, with desk lamp lighting and adjustable office chairs -- in which each person has their own private, designated study area. Underneath these study tables, each person is provided with a free-standing, two shelf unit -- that's usually utilized for printer placement, along with storage of paper and other related items. Shared items in each bedroom include a six shelf bookcase, desk lamp lighting, color TV, cable box, plus DVD and VCR players.

There are two full bathrooms that are available for everyone living at the townhouse to use! Hi, I won't be here this summer and I'm looking for a subleaser for summer 2008.

You'd be living in a fairly large, yet home-like sorority house. It has bike racks for bikes in the back and a large sundeck and volleyball pit. There is also a big kitchen and a large fridge and freezer space to put your food in. My bedroom is downstairs in its own private hallway directly across from the bathroom (will be shared with up to 4 girls and is very spacious; there is also drawers and cabinets to keep any bathroom things you have) and close to the livingroom and big screen television set. The bedroom is huge and has lots of closet space and you'd be living with one other person.

Rent is $670 which includes all utilities, free high-speed internet and cable; and there is also FREE washer and dryer on site. The house is very quiet, especially in the summer and is always kept very clean.

It's also a block away from the UCSB campus and a few blocks away from the beack. Ideal housing for the summer!!

Subletting begins June 18th and ends August 23rd.
