Hello, we need a handyman with all the right tools to get our detached unit up to legal dwelling unit (our lot is zoned R-3, so it is permitted for this). Structure is approx 11x20, roof needs to be completely replaced, it was not installed correctly. Half of the subfloor as well as interior walls need to be rearranged. Will also need some plumbing work done. Experience in remodels, framing, and bldg codes required. Also need a very basic carport built. Once the unit is liveable, you can live there rent free for two-three months, depending on how much work you complete on the unit. Potential to stay longer, if my relative does not come to stay as anticipated.
This is ideal for someone with vision, talent, and looking to reduce their expenses for a few months.
