If you saw the "60 Minutes" episode featuring San Diego Chargers all-pro running back LaDainian Tomlinson, you now know an important component to HIS grueling training regimen--KETTLEBELLS!


Are YOU tough enough?


Do YOU want a butt-kicking workout that'll blowtorch off the fat?


Then kettlebells are for you.


Dave is a certified and insured personal trainer and a former instructor at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, where he trained Air Force special ops officer candidates. You'll be hard pressed to find a more results-oriented fitness instructor than Dave; if you're willing to commit, he'll be an indispensable part of your achieving your fitness goals.


Kettlebells are a great supplement to free-weights, body-weight exercises (my preferred choice), or they make a great workout in themselves.

WEST BEACH IN SANTA BARBARA--Mon and Wed at 6 pm, and Saturday mornings at 9 am. Workouts last 45 minutes.


DAVE'S WARNING: if you are morbidly obese, have diabetes, high blood pressure, any kind of heart condition, or any other potentially dangerous medical condition, kettlebells are not for you. At least, I won't train with you--it's too risky. I would encourage you to begin with an entry-level workout program that addresses your particular medical concerns.

Also, if you're a runway model or tight-rope specialist you shouldn't have any gigs planned for the first week or so after beginning training--I guarantee you'll be gimpy.

While this workout is not for the faint of heart, I will be responsive to each student's relative fitness level.
