We would prefer that you move in on 1 June 2008. We can accomodate an earlier move in date if you need it.
The apartment is on Cathedral Oaks near Brandon Drive. It is a really pretty area. The pictures below are of the view from the front window and the bedroom window. There are pictures of the room, living room, etc. at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=21186&l=a7271&id=521058406.
About the place:
- Kitchen: Microwave, Gas stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, mixer, utensils, flatware, dishes are so so, some pots and pans, refrigerator (no icemaker though!), lots of cabinet space
- Living room: Huge with a view. I use it for doing yoga and stretching exercises so we like to keep the floor space open. We have a really nice massaging recliner since I have a bad back. There is a spare computer with internet access.
- Dining Area: Table, chairs, spare computer with internet access. I have an electric piano in there right now if you like to play.
- Bathroom: Shared. Has a vanity and a storage closet just outside of the bathroom.
- Bedroom: Good size with nice view. Walk in closet with light. I can leave the desk, twin bed (with eurotop matress) with storage base (3 drawers), table and lamp in the room so you don't have to deal with moving a lot of furniture in
- Big Flat Screen TV with a bunch of Cable TV channels (I don't watch TV so I'm not sure what channels we have...I can check if you need to know)
- Telephone service from cable company. We have unlimited long distance to anywhere in the US. If you make international calls, you will pay for those separately
- Broadband internet from the cable company. We have 1 computer in living room, 1 computer in dining room and wireless internet for the bedrooms,
- There is a bunch of storage cabinets in the hall (I have to clean them out though).
- The Laundry room is downstairs and has 4 coin-operated washing machines and 4 coin-operated dryers. There is a locked storage cabinet so you can keep your laundry stuff in the laundry room
- There is a locked bike storage room in a separate building. I have a mountain bike in there that you can use or you can store your own bike in there.
- I smoke cigarettes outside. We are 420 friendly.
- My son plays guitar, but it is mostly acoustic stuff and not loud.
- Neighbords: Nice neighbors. There are some children in the complex that play in the courtyard. Once in awhile you can hear children pitching a hissy fit, but thankfully it isn't too often.
- Parking: There is lots of parking. If you have visitors they are supposed to park on the street. There is a locked storage cabinet in the carport area (I have to clean it out if you want to put anything in there!)
The apartment manager (really nice lady that lives a couple buildings over) requires that everyone fills out an apartment application before moving in. I already paid a big deposit; we can be flexible and work out terms so we need only a small deposit.
