single mom has extra room in home (lower eastside)
I am currently renting a three bedroom house in SB (near Montecito and Salinas). I am a single mom with two young boys, 6 1/2 years and almost 5. My boys are only with me part time. There will be plenty of times when the house will be all yours.
I am looking to rent out a 12 X 13 (large) room to a mature female for $800 (rent negotiable) which includes utilities, phone, cable, washer and dryer, etc... and an occassional dinner. The bathroom is located across the hall from the bedroom but it has the only available tub which my sons will need to use occasionally. You could have wireless internet in your room, the main computer is in my room. There is a full kitchen, dinning room and a living/family room with a fireplace. It is a very unique house! You would have full use of the house, there is even a little backyard. The house is casually decorated, your own furniture is welcome but not needed. If you have no bed for your room there is a comfortable futon and a corner hutch available, as well as a t.v. but no dvd player.
We are easy going and mellow. My boys are with me every Monday, Tuesday and Friday night and every other Saturday. I actually spend a lot of time at their dad's house so there will be times when the house is all yours.
At the moment the extra room is being used as a playroom, so if you come to see the house please keep this in mind.
