I just wanted to say Thank you to the big oil Exxon.
Thank you for raising gas prices so high, that you have made 75 BILLION dollars in profit in 2006-2007!
AWW I'm so sorry to hear that you only made 10 BILLION in the first quarter of 2008, what a shame, I know I could never run my company on 10 BILLION Profit!!
Please raise the prices so you can make 45 BILLION this year, you know all of America doesn't mind, it's not like we need to eat or live in housing, or buy Goods from retailers.
I'm sure those retailers will understand when we stop buying their goods, and their employees will understand when they get laid off because sales are down.
I'm sure grocery stores won't mind if we start dumpster diving for our food instead of paying them cash we don't have (had to spend it on gas). After all, they will be throwing out a lot more food seeing we won't be buying it.
I'm sure banks are so thankful to you also, after all they now own a bunch of houses!!
Please Exxon, don't worry about the pending recession, I'm sure the high fuel costs have nothing to do with it, after all, everyone has been raising prices also due to the gas prices, I'm sure the higher prices are making them 40 BILLION a year also!
Oh, seeing America is such an overweight nation, I guess you are helping us all loose weight, seeing many go without 3 meals a day now, some are lucky to have 1 meal a day. Its the new EXXON DIET, COOL!
I just wanted to also Thank Exxon for lining the pockets of our elected officials, yes must be nice that no one can sue you in a US court to try and correct the gas prices. ( I Don't think calling our elected official every day and complaining will work seeing we don't have all that money to give them as "donations")
Exxon made 35 BILLION dollars in 2006
Exxon made 40 BILLION dollars in 2007
Exxon made 10 BILLION in the first 3 months of 2008
Anyway, just wanted to say Thank you, after all the current US economy has nothing to do with your gas prices. It's nice to see someone making a profit, 85 BILLION since Jan 2006, I should have bought oil stock, DOH!
