Summer Trip Planned - Need Pet Care (Santa Barbara)

I am planning a summer trip in July for ten days. I need someone acutely responsible to care for my tiny, 5 lb. long-haired chihuahua while I am away. He cannot be left alone and should not be with extremely large dogs as he could easily be injured. He is easy to care for as long as he gets at least one trip to the park every day and you don't mind him sitting on your lap. He is, after all, a "lap" dog.
His airfare would cost me $200, so your fee needs to be less than $20 day, otherwise I might as well take him with me. I also have two parakeets in a large-ish cage that will need boarding.
All food and other necessary supplies will obviously be provided. Please write and tell me what your living arrangements are, what your animal experience is, and what your fees would be for the dog and the birds for the ten days. Thank you in advance.
