Hi there!
I am a 26-year-old woman in search of a nanny position. I am available immediately. I am available to work weekdays and weekends, and have a flexible schedule. I have life-long experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I am the eldest of four children in an active, loving family. Originally from beautiful Northern California, I loved caring for my siblings so much growing up, that my mother had the time and energy (with two toddler children nonetheless!) to start a thriving, successful childcare businesses of her own that I assisted her with for years. Her love for caring for children didn’t miss me by a long shot! My youngest siblings are boy and girl twins, so I am definitely a nanny who can multi-task, entertain, and monitor the safety of multiple children from toddler to tots of all ages at once if need be! Spending time with children is a great joy to me!
I am an outgoing, trustworthy, dependable, punctual, responsible, health conscious individual with a great sense of humor and a thirst for learning and sharing that passion for discovery through educating. I do my best to ensure children in my care have a healthy, safe environment in which to learn and grow. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs of any kind, and strive to live as physical and spiritually healthy a lifestyle as I can to live my best and give my all. I can cook a variety of styles, travel, drive (I have a full-size SUV), and possibly assist you with other tasks you might need help with.
I also tutor. I won an 8-year national scholarship worth over $100,000 at age 13 to four years at a prestigious, private college preparatory school and four years to the college of my choice. I traveled the world on choral singing tours, filming documentaries, followed political races, even created my own semester of study abroad my senior year. I also acquired my B.A. in English at USC with a minor in Film Studies. Since graduating I have worked in the music and television industry in production, radio, marketing, and online media. I have also been a children swimming instructor, and the tutor and nanny for the same family for 7 years.
I believe that children have a natural thirst for knowledge that when quenched, the possibilities are endless, and their curiosity for information and experience grows exponentially from there. The youthful years are a precious time in which we can use school, the outdoors, (to an extent when carefully used only under parent discretion) the internet, sports, and extracurricular reading to help children down a path to become healthy, smart, responsible, and caring individuals. I hope to continue providing your child/children with the environment you, the parent, wish them to thrive in during your absence. Respecting you, your parenting style, your child/children, and your home is of utmost importance to me.
