The Trekker Treeless Pro Endurance Saddle
You'll be sold on the Trekker Pro Endurance saddle, it's a truly innovative and practical saddle. This single saddle can be fitted to varying horses which require different width pommels (gullets), from narrow to extra wide, and at the same time the seat size adapts to almost any rider! (15.5" to 18"). The Pro Endurance has a comfortable, deep secure seat and is easy to fit to both horse and rider. This saddle is NOT a glorified bareback pad, nor does it have the usual flabbiness associated with treeless saddles.
The Trekker Pro Endurance has no fixed tree, but the combination of special wool reinforcements on the inside and the individually adjustable panels on the underside give the saddle enough stability for a wonderfully comfortable, secure seat and at the same time insure that neither the saddle, nor the rider, touch the horses spine in anyway… so the spine is always free of pressure. While not approved for FEI showing (because it is considered Treeless), the Pro Endurance is wonderfully suited for Dressage and English riding and is great for ring work and lessons. The saddle has enough of a "seat" to help keep you in a corrrect position for long hours in the saddle. The panels on the underside also eliminate the need for expensive special pads /numnahs, specifically designed for treeless saddles.
Developed in cooperation with veterinary surgeons, physiotherapists and experienced endurance riders, the Pro Endurance is cutting edge in saddle fit, for both the horse and rider. The panels on the underside are filled with unique memory foam, conforming to the horses back each time you ride (fitting a wide range of diverse backs), and because of this special material, the panels never need to be re-upholstered.
The width of the saddle is individually adjustable from narrow to extra-wide with the turn of a bar (can be done while on the horse), and the seat size is adjustable for the rider from 15” to 18”, English measurement. Removable kneepads ensure a secure seat, while at the same time keeping the leg in a good position without limiting the riders movement. The fenders or Webbers attach with a traditional bar, and the saddle is equipped with V-rigging and uses a standard type dressage girth. Just 19” in length, short backed horses are no problem for this saddle, and it weighs less than 11 lbs!
