There is an amazing opportunity to get involved with a positive movement towards the future. On the SBCC Campus there is an organization called the Center of Sustainability. Students come together to hang out and discuss positive solutions for campus life, buildings, health, food, and transportation, etc.
there is this amazing weekend of knowledge, fun, and sustainability coming up in Nov, in Santa Cruz. For more information check out http://sustainabilitycoalition.org/. It is the Fall Convergence. They are amazing! There is green job training, and students from all over California that want to make a difference in the upcoming and already happening green revolution. They will provide room and board. Your only obligation is transportation, food, and an excitement to participate in a 'happening', and gain some really positive information to bring back to SB and the SB center for sustainability.
