The Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival’s goal is to provide a showcase for a wide-spectrum of filmmakers to exhibit very short form video and film works. We encourage both experienced and novice directors, writers, animators, artists, designers and producers to submit 60-second films and videos for inclusion in the festival, although special consideration will be given to works that express the unique spirit, style and soul of Santa Barbara, California.
All genres of film will be considered -- documentary, animation, experimental, student work, nature, sports, trailers and so on. The only guideline is the length: One minute.

All films should be submitted in Quicktime (.mov) or NTSC (region 0 or 1) form.
Please write the film name, filmmaker's name and phone number on each DVD in Sharpie. No labels, please. Submit two copies of your film. No film should exceed 1 minute 59 seconds n length. Entrance fee is $15 .
Deadline for entry is: Sept 10th, 2009. Event will be early in Oct. 2009.
