We are currently actively looking for an experienced DESIGN ENGINEER-ELECTRICAL for our busy Engineering Department located at our corporate headquarters in SANTA BARBARA/GOLETA, CALIFORNIA.
Our design engineers create and develop custom mechanical and electrical designs and work on multiple projects assigned to project teams, providing a variety of work and opportunities for learning, growth, and development.
The Ideal Candidate will have the following experiences and skills:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
* 3 or more years of successful and increasingly responsible experience in the design and analysis of electrical power and control systems for heavy equipment
* Experience in hydraulics and electrical control systems used on offshore oil platform equipment
* Knowledge of marine systems and hazardous area electrical requirements
* Highly proficient with CAD and 3-D design tools (AutoCAD and SolidWorks a plus)
* PLC programming experience
* Results orientation and the ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time
* Strong analytical, customer service, and oral and written English communication skills
