I bought this motor along with a 10HP Johnson Sea Horse about 2 years ago. I bought the pair from a man out in the Mojave Desert who said he used this FireStone motor on his Canoe on one trip per year.

He ran it for me in a barrel of water for about 5 minutes, until it was warmed up and I was satisfied.

The last time I started it I broke the pull start cord, and don't want to bother fixing it... I removed the old pull start cord and found that it's an easy system to replace if one were inclined.

I bought this motor to sell it, so that's what I'm trying to do. If no one purchases it this time, I'm going to throw it away.

It runs just fine, has never been used by me, and was used in fresh water bodies previously, and just needs a pull start cord. I can send my pictures by email to you if you want them.
