Worrydolls were used in the Mayan culture by women as gifts to their children as a sign of relief from their concerns or fears.
The children slept with them under their pillows hoping that the morning after, their concerns disappear. Originally 7 worrydolls were given in a box, each worrydoll for each day of the week.
Today this tradition has become a symbol of good luck when someone gave it to you as a gift.
There are 220 to 250 worrydolls total in each bag bringing them on both sides, the colors also vary because they are unique pieces produced by hand.
The handle is made of wood also vary according to the tone of wood dye.
Its interior is fully lined and closes with a snap iman that gives us an item as a result of top quality craftsmanship.
The bag measured 14 inch Length and 10 inch wide and it’s made with manta.
